Our Story
It all started back in 2012 when our founder, Jessica, wanted to make cute friendship bracelets for her daughter Ava and her friends. She remembered making them when she was young and thought it would be a fun activity for Ava’s next sleepover party.
Jessica browsed local craft stores looking for embroidery floss and alphabet beads, but she couldn’t find any options that were both affordable and stylish. That’s when she decided to launch Just My Style® – a business focused on trendy friendship bracelets and alphabet jewelry at reasonable prices.
In Jessica’s words:
“I wanted to offer girls adorable designs they would be proud to wear and parents could afford. Our mission is to spread friendship through fashion while making sure no kid feels left out.”
Jessica started small, selling her handmade creations on Etsy. She would stay up late into the night stringing together floss and beads, packaging each order individually.
Word spread quickly about her cool bracelets and necklaces. Soon, Jessica brought on her crafty friend Laura to help meet the growing demand.
Within a couple of years, Just My Style® expanded from Etsy to our own website and catalog. We went from a two-person passion project to a company with over 50 employees!
While we’ve grown a lot, our dedication to quality, customization, and affordable prices remains the same. Everything is still made in the USA with care.

Our Founder: Jessica
From Handmade to Hit Brand
Founder Jessica started Just My Style® while making friendship bracelets for her daughter in 2012. Her designs quickly gained popularity on Etsy as word spread about their creativity and affordability.
The demand became so great that Jessica brought on her crafty friend Laura to help. Soon, Just My Style® expanded from Etsy to our own website, catalog, and team of over 50 employees.
Through it all, Jessica has never lost sight of the brand’s core mission: providing fun, matching accessories that promote friendship and self-expression. She still oversees all product development and creative direction.
A Lifetime Love of Crafting
Even as a young girl, Jessica always loved making things. Some of her favorite childhood memories were crafting projects with her mom and grandma.
In high school, Jessica sold handmade scrunchies and beaded necklaces to friends. As an adult, she discovered a passion for jewelry making after taking a class at a local bead store.
Jessica brings her lifelong enthusiasm for arts and crafts to every bracelet, necklace, and jewelry kit produced under the Just My Style® brand.
Family Ties
Just My Style® started as a small project between Jessica and her daughter Ava. Now, it’s a family affair!
Jessica’s husband Dan handles the business and operational side of things. Meanwhile, her kids Ava and Ryan often test out new product samples (a perk of having a mom in the jewelry biz!).
The whole family contributes ideas and inspiration to support Jessica in growing the Just My Style® brand. They are so proud of how a homemade hobby has flourished into a successful business.
